Piko Passenger Train Starter Set

Starter set passenger train BR 80 of the DR, epoch III including sound + steam

The starter set contains an attractive class 80 steam locomotive and 2 passenger cars with DR (German Reich Railways) lettering. The Deutsche Reichsbahn was the operating name of state-owned railways in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany), and after German reunification until 1 January 1994.

The powerful steam locomotive has a light change that is dependent on the direction of travel. The locomotive is already equipped with a realistic, analogue sound and switchable steam function.

The sound function can be controlled by two included switching magnets, No. 35268. The locomotive also has ball-bearing and chrome-plated wheel sets. A manual uncoupler No. 36039 is included with the set. It is used to easily uncouple the vehicles. PIKO G articles are suitable for indoors and outdoors and are labelled "weatherproof".
