The PECO Lectrics PL-12 Turnout Motor Adaptor Base is designed to enable a PECO PL-10 turnout motor to be mounted on the surface of the baseboard rather than beneath it. It provides a practical solution where under-baseboard installation is not possible or where easier access for maintenance is required.

The adaptor base incorporates a removable over-centre spring, making it suitable for operating turnouts that do not have their own over-centre spring mechanism. An extension arm is included, allowing the turnout motor to be positioned away from the turnout where space or layout design requires.
